Rafaela "Lupe" Silva, 51, of Las Cruces, died Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2005. She was born Oct. 24, 1953 in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico to Francisco and Micaela Flores Silva. Lupe had a fondness for dancing, sewing and loved to take her grandchildren to the park. She will be deeply missed by all her family and friends who knew and loved her. Rafaela "Lupe" Silva, 51, of Las Cruces, died Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2005. She was born Oct. 24, 1953 in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico to Francisco and Micaela Flores Silva. Lupe had a fondness for dancing, sewing and loved to take her grandchildren to the park. She will be deeply missed by all her family and friends who knew and loved her. She is survived by her son Loyd L. Sellers Jr. of Las Vegas, NV; daughters Corine Ortega and husband Javier of El Paso, TX and Dorothy M. Sellers of Las Cruces; brothers Pancho, Bernie, Gorni, Mario and David; sisters Petra, Juana, Mary and Toni. Her six grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive her. Lupe was preceded in death by her parents. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2005 at Primera Iglesia Bautista with Rev. James Underwoood.
