Ralph Marlin Pierce passed away in Las Cruces, NM at the age of 84 on October 21, 2013. He was born, April 6, 1929, and raised in Medford, Oregon. Ralph Marlin Pierce passed away in Las Cruces, NM at the age of 84 on October 21, 2013. He was born, April 6, 1929, and raised in Medford, Oregon. He graduated from San Jose Bible College where he met and married his wife of 62 years, Esther Bernice Pierce (Jellsett). He served as a minister and started several new churches throughout most of his life in CA, AZ, PA and NM. He also obtained his MSW from Arizona State and became the first CPS supervisor for Pima County and worked there until he retired. After living in Northern California for several years, he spent the last 12 years in Las Cruces. He is survived by his wife, Bernice; brother, Maurice and sister, Melody of Oregon and family; son, Carlton Pierce and wife, Kelly, of Mt. Washington, KY; daughter, Charlene Durgin of Las Cruces, NM; and son, Daniel Pierce of Tucson, AZ; Six grandchildren: Joshua, Caleb, Titus, Timothy, Brian and Audrey and one great granddaughter, Kaylee. Services to be held at Las Cruces Church of Christ, Friday, October 25th, at 2 pm followed by a graveside service at Masonic Cemetery. PDF Printable Version
