Ramiro T. Ojeda, 63, of Las Cruces, passed away on Friday, July 6, 2012. He was born Aug. 31, 1948 in Porvenir, Mexico to Jose and Teresa Tierras Ojeda. He enjoyed the outdoors, barbequing, music, working on cars and making all kinds of things, but his passion was for his family. Ramiro will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Ramiro T. Ojeda, 63, of Las Cruces, passed away on Friday, July 6, 2012. He was born Aug. 31, 1948 in Porvenir, Mexico to Jose and Teresa Tierras Ojeda. He enjoyed the outdoors, barbequing, music, working on cars and making all kinds of things, but his passion was for his family. Ramiro will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years Clara Monreal; his sons Jose Ojeda and wife Erika and Louis Ojeda and wife Christine; daughters Clara Ojeda, Leticia Carmona and Laura Gallardo; mother Teresa Ojeda; Sisters Maria Sanchez, Gloria Leon and Anna Chavez and husband Roberto. Ramiro is also survived by his grandchildren Mariah, Miguel and Arianna. A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 pm on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at Getz Funeral Home where a prayer vigil will follow at 7 pm. His funeral mass to celebrate his life is at 10 am on Thursday, July 12, 2012 also at Our Lady of Guadalupe with Fr. Richard Catanach officiating. Rite of Committal will be at the Tortugas Cemetery.
