Ramon Valles, 88 of Las Cruces, NM died Sunday August 26, 2007 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born September 15, 1918 in Falomir, Chihuahua, Mexico to Juan and Alberta Cardoza Valles. Ramon Valles, 88 of Las Cruces, NM died Sunday August 26, 2007 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born September 15, 1918 in Falomir, Chihuahua, Mexico to Juan and Alberta Cardoza Valles. Ramon was a retired heavy equipment operator, a resident of Las Cruces since 1987 and a member Iglesia Bautista, El Buen Pastor. Ramon is survived by his wife Leandra of the family home; three sons, Alberto Valles and wife Concepcion of EL Paso, TX; Gerardo Valles and wife Orfa of Chihuahua, MX; and Adan Valles and wife Olga Lidia of Las Cruces, NM. Six daughters, Alejandra Madrid and husband Fred of Las Cruces, NM; Teresa Romero and husband Antonio of Juarez, MX; Juana Almanza and husband Anselmo of El Paso, TX; Delia Ledezma and husband Juan of Juarez, MX; Eva Madrid and husband Louis of Las Cruces, NM; and Leandra Gonzalez and husband Mario Alberto of EL Paso, TX. Also surviving Ramon are two brothers, Cesario Valles of Durango, MX and Jose Leon Valles of Fresno, CA; 33 grandchildren, 63 great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5 to 7 PM on Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at Getz Funeral Home where a celebration of his life will follow at 7 PM. Funeral Services will be at 10 AM on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at Getz Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Pastor Mario Alberto Gonzalez. Burial will follow at Masonic Cemetery.
