Raul M. Villa, 79 of Las Cruces, NM passed away peacefully Thursday, March 18, 2010, at home surrounded by his family. He was born October 14, 1930 in Crowley, Colorado to Max and Simona Villa. Raul M. Villa, 79 of Las Cruces, NM passed away peacefully Thursday, March 18, 2010, at home surrounded by his family. He was born October 14, 1930 in Crowley, Colorado to Max and Simona Villa. Raul served his country honorably in US Army. He lived in Santa Ana, California and had worked and retired from the construction industry. Raul was a resident of Las Cruces since 1982 and was a member of the Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife Margarita of Las Cruces; three sons, Raul Villa Jr. of CA; Gary Villa of CA; and Randy Villa of Las Cruces. Two daughters, Debbie and Veronica Villa both of California. Three step sons, Sergio Chavira and wife Julia of California; Andres Chavira and wife Stella of Las Cruces; and Javier Chavira and wife Yolanda of Austin, TX. Also surviving him is a stepdaughter, Rosa Chavira and husband Albino of Sunland Park, NM, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held from 6 to 7 pm on Monday, March 22, 2010 at Getz Funeral Home Chapel where the Prayer Vigil will follow at 7 pm. The Funeral Liturgy will be at 10 am on Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at St. Genevieve's Catholic Church, 100 S. Espina. Officiating will be Fr. Juan Moreno. Burial will follow at 2:30 pm at Ft.
