Rhenda Pierce

In Memory of Rhenda Kay Pierce (Prestridge) Rhenda Kay Prestridge Pierce passed on Saturday June 5, 2021, at Memorial Medical Center. She was born May 24, 1949, in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico to Thomas and Audrey Prestridge. Rhenda Kay graduated from Las Cruces High School in June of 1967 and graduated from Dona Ana County Community College in May of 2008. On July 16, 2005, Rhenda Kay married Van Pierce. Rhenda Kay was a homemaker and loved Sewing. She was involved several hobby crafts to stay busy. Rhenda Kay loved all the people she knew and made friends with ease. She also spent a great amount of time with Family and friends. Rhenda Kay is survived by her husband Van Pierce, her brother Tom Prestridge and her mother Audrey Prestridge Hamilton. Rhenda Kay is preceded in death by her father Thomas Prestridge and her son Todd Schreiber. For a memorial, the family would like friends who knew Rhenda Kay to please go and visit Audrey Prestridge Hamilton. She Resides at The Village at Northrise Morningside assisted living facility. Audrey is 94 years young and would enjoy visiting with family and old friends. Audrey is strong and gets around on her own. The Prestridge and Pierce family would like to see all religious, College and other community organizations to get out and visit the nursing homes and assisted living facilities to give there support and compassion to all our seniors who have been closed in for the last year.
