Ricardo C. Lopez, 34, of Las Cruces died Monday, March 3, 2008. Ricardo was born in Las Cruces, New Mexico, on August 18, 1973, to Adrian and Maria Lopez. Ricardo C. Lopez, 34, of Las Cruces died Monday, March 3, 2008. Ricardo was born in Las Cruces, New Mexico, on August 18, 1973, to Adrian and Maria Lopez. After obtaining his GED, Ricardo began working as a roofer for G. Bishop Roofing. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his beloved wife, Juanita Lopez, of the family home; mother, Maria Lopez, of Las Cruces, NM; brothers, Adrian C. Lopez, of Las Cruces, NM and Jesus C. Lopez, of Tucson, AZ; paternal grandmother, Maura Samaniego; maternal grandmother, Rita Contreras; uncles, Joe Contreras, of Las Cruces, NM and Manuel Contreras, of Visalia, CA; aunt, Stella Garcia, of Las Cruces, NM; mother and father in law, Armando and Lucy Venegas, of Las Cruces; nieces, Clarissa and Megan Lopez, of Tucson, AZ. Ricardo was preceded in death by his father Adrian Lopez Sr., and grandfather Julian Contreras. A visitation will take place at Getz Funeral Home on Friday, March 7, 2008 from 5-7 PM, with a Prayer Vigil to follow at 7 PM. The Funeral Liturgy will take place at St. Genevieve's Catholic Church on Saturday, March 8, 2008 at 11:30 AM, with interment to follow at the Dona Ana Cemetery. PDF Printable Version
