Richard Jepson, 83, of Las Cruces, died Friday, Oct. 7, 2011. He was born April 4, 1929 in Downey, CA to Worth and Bera Jepson. Richard was a retired SMSgt. with the US Air Force where he served our country honorably during the Vietnam Era. Richard Jepson, 83, of Las Cruces, died Friday, Oct. 7, 2011. He was born April 4, 1929 in Downey, CA to Worth and Bera Jepson. Richard was a retired SMSgt. with the US Air Force where he served our country honorably during the Vietnam Era. While in the service of our country he was awarded the Silver Star, Bronze Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. Mr. Jepson's passion was for his family and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his sons SMSgt. Charles E. Jepson and wife Glenda of Riverside, CA, Richard M. Jepson and wife Cindy, John Jepson and wife Bonnie and George Jepson and wife Rosaura all of Las Cruces; daughter Patricia Harris and husband Jim of Riverside, CA; 10 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Richard was preceded in death by his loving wife Joyce Jepson. Funeral Services to celebrate his life will be held at a later date in Sun City, California with burial to follow at Riverside National Cemetery with full military honors. PDF Printable Version
