Richard "Dick" "Chief" Paul Little, 72, passed away on February 10, 2012. He was born on September 10, 1939 to Paul Little and the former Mildred Goembel in Geneseo, IL. After graduating high school, Dick attended the University of New Mexico, studying Mathematics and Civil Engineering. Dick went on to work for the New Mexico Highway Department and later for several private construction companies in Las Cruces. Dick will be fondly remembered for the impact of his mentorships, his attachment to all things New Mexican and his love of Country. Dick was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Franklin Little; a sister, Bernice Bobo and his two sons, Paul Little, II and Reed Little. Dick is survived by his sisters Marjorie Christman of Billings, MT and Josephine Skinner of Las Cruces, NM; his brother, George Little, of Albuquerque, NM; his daughter, Christine Bolkema of Albuquerque, NM and three grandsons and three granddaughters. Memorial Services to celebrate his life will be held at Getz Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to the United States Military Academy's Cadet Activities Fund at 655 Pitcher Road, Eisenhower Hall, West Point, NY 10996. PDF Printable Version
