Rita Aguirre, 53, a resident of Socorro, entered eternal rest at Rio Rancho Presbyterian Rust Medical Center on Monday, February 14, 2022. She was born on April 26, 1968, in Hatch, New Mexico, and was raised in Arrey. Ritz (as she was fondly known) loved spending time with her family and friends. Her love, kindness, endless giving and joy for music are some of the gifts that she shared with everyone. She was such a beautiful person and was loved by everyone. She will be missed dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents (Francisco and Aurora Aguirre). Ritz is survived by her boyfriend, Chris Azure; step-daughter, Nicole Martinez (husband, Jose Ortega); god-daughter, Tatiana Stewart; 4 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers-in law and her brothers and sisters: Ruben (Silvia), Tony (Vanessa), Esther (Chris Stewart), Lilly, Frank (ToniLynn), Robert (Nancy), and Saul Aguirre (Mary Esther). She also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews and great-nieces/nephews. Visitation and services will be held on Friday, February 25, 2022, from 5 to 7 p.m. First Visitation
