Together Again Robbie has left her family to join her beloved husband and lifelong companion John in Heaven. Robbie and John were married for 69 years and never separated, so naturally it was hard for her to lose him on June 1, 2009 She grieved for him until she was finally claimed by Alzheimer's December 28, 2009.. Robbie spent most of her life as a homemaker but after the children were all in school she went to work in food services for the public schools and then later at the Aggie Snack Bar on the NMSU campus. Robbie used to reminisce fondly about the faculty and ag students she met at the Aggie Snack Bar until Alzheimer's took her memory. Robbie was an excellent cook but also loved to make crafts for the home and as gifts. Robbie taught her family to live by the golden rule and instilled in them the desire to learn and lead productive lives. She was very proud of her children and their accomplishments. Robbie is survived by her daughter Kathy Billing, her son Kenneth Mills (Donna) of Las Cruces; her last remaining sibling Leon Buckner of Virginia Beach, VA; grandchildren Theresa and Jeffrey Anderson of Muscatine, Iowa, Sherry Sanderson of Fort Collins, Colorado, and Curtis Mills of Las Cruces; great grandchildren Samantha and Jared Mills of Las Cruces; and Josh Anderson and son-in-law Don Anderson of Muscatine, Iowa as well as numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews in Oklahoma and Texas. In addition to immediate family, she is also survived by her second family
