Robert C. Winzenread, 86, died Aug. 27, 2005 at Mesilla Valley Hospice. He was born Feb. 10, 1919 to Russell A. and Mabel (Vice) Winzenread in Indianapolis, IN. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Warren of Alta Loma, CA. Robert C. Winzenread, 86, died Aug. 27, 2005 at Mesilla Valley Hospice. He was born Feb. 10, 1919 to Russell A. and Mabel (Vice) Winzenread in Indianapolis, IN. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Warren of Alta Loma, CA. Robert is survived by his loving wife of 64 years Mary Olive (Griffith) Winzenread; sons and spouses, Dr. Michael Winzenread and wife Anne of Edmonds, OK, Stephen Winzenread and wife Gloria and Dr. John Winzenread and wife Vicki all of Columbus, Ohio; six grandchildren and sister Dorothy Burke of Alta Loma, CA. He and his wife retired here from Columbus, Ohio in Dec. 1979. He had 28 years service with Western Electric (AT&T) working as an accountant and auditor at the plants in Indianapolis, Oklahoma City and Columbus, Ohio. His B.S. Degree in Business Administration was earned from Butler University in Indianapolis following his service in the U.S. Army Anti Aircraft from Dec. 1941 until March 27, 1946. Mr. Winzenread was a member of First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), the local chapter of Telephone Pioneers of America and played golf many years with the Old Timers at NMSU golf course. Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, Sept. 19, 2005 at Getz Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dennis Knotts officiating.
