Robert Duane Archuleta was born on November 26th 1950 and went to dance with the angels on August 29th 2014. His final moments were in the extravagant house he built with long time partner Dale Antresian. He was born to Jose and Genevieve Archuleta in Denver, Colorado and is survived by sisters; Katherine Gonzalez and Orlie Williams. Robert is also survived by 3 brothers; Orlando, Alfonso, and Daniel. For work he was a true jack of ALL trades, but licensed at one time or another as a master plumber and a general contractor in both New Mexico and Colorado. As a plumbers apprentice, in the 70's he won 1st place in plumbing competitions for three consecutive years. He spent his childhood growing up in Denver/Aurora area until moving to New Mexico in the early 80's. Being the nomad that he was he moved back and forth until finally settling back down in Rincon, New Mexico where he worked on a pecan farm for the last 5 years of his life. He was a real craftsman, mentor, teacher, friend, brother, son and father. He had a true understanding about how things worked and he definitely lived for the moment with no regrets. Adios Bob, we all miss you so much already, bueno bye. A celebration of life will be held on Monday, September 8th 2014 in Hatch at Sparky's BBQ and Espresso. PDF Printable Version
