Robert E. Simmons, 82, passed away on Friday, August 6, 2010, at La Posada, Mesilla Valley Hospice. Bob was born September 14, 1927, in Chicago, IL. to Ruth Blanchard and Robert F. Simmons. He will be remembered as a man of many talents including music, computer sage, a monthly newsletter for 16 years, a joke and a story for every occasion, "chasing girls at the mall", whimsical painting, a good friend and always lovingly available for his family.
