Robert "Atomic Bob" Francis Hoff, 64, of Las Cruces, NM, passed away at 12:22 p.m. on Saturday, June 30, 2007, at University Medical Center in Tucson, AZ after a courageous battle with leukemia. Robert "Atomic Bob" Francis Hoff, 64, of Las Cruces, NM, passed away at 12:22 p.m. on Saturday, June 30, 2007, at University Medical Center in Tucson, AZ after a courageous battle with leukemia. He was surrounded by his family and loved ones. Robert was born Dec. 22, 1942 in Chicago, IL to Loren and Julia (Lehnert) Hoff. He was one of 12 children, which included 4 sets of twins. He was the founder and owner of Atomic Towing and Auto Salvage in Las Cruces for 28 years until his retirement in January of 2006. Robert is survived by his four children, Kristen and husband Joseph Clever of Orlando, FL, Brian and wife Karina Hoff of Phoenix, AZ, Samantha Manicki and partner Adam Gallivan of Las Cruces, NM, Logan Manicki of Las Cruces, NM; 8 grandchildren: Dawson, Joseph, Madison, Lauryn, Scott, Jason, James and Jaden; five brothers: Bill, Eddie, Jimmy, Charlie and his twin brother Richard. Three sisters: Jean, Lois and Carol who so graciously gave him the chance to extend his life. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers: Loren and Gerald; one sister, Nancy; and a daughter, Robin. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 7, 2007 at Getz Funeral Home. Honorary pall bearers will be Martin Robinson, Kito Valenzuela, "Crazy" John Jameson, Kenny Edgar, Adam Gallivan and Eddie Stowell.
