Robert G. Wright, 71, of Las Cruces, died Wednesday, June 20, 2012. He was born Dec. 25, 1940 in Amarillo, TX. to Woodrow and Tomme Wright. He had worked for P.S.L. at N.M.S.U. for two years and then retired from W.S.M.R. as an Engineer with more than 32 years of faithful service. Robert G. Wright, 71, of Las Cruces, died Wednesday, June 20, 2012. He was born Dec. 25, 1940 in Amarillo, TX. to Woodrow and Tomme Wright. He had worked for P.S.L. at N.M.S.U. for two years and then retired from W.S.M.R. as an Engineer with more than 32 years of faithful service. Robert enjoyed the outdoors, golfing, music, dancing and tinkering with things but his passion was for his family. He will be forever missed and loved by all his family and friends who knew and loved him. He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years Irene Wright of the family home; two sons Felix Villegas and Andrew Villegas and wife Jerriette; daughters Mary Frances Kelp and husband Ben, Tomme Jean Smith, Mary Smith and husband Billy and Edie Shipley; brother R.K. and sisters Carol, Wanda and MaryBelle; grandchildren Michelle, Anthony, Aryen, Amber, William, Adriana, Mark, Nicole, Sophia, Cassie, Galen, Jackie, Robert, T.C., Nathaniel and Nikki and by his great-grandchildren Lauryn, Riane, Joseph, Santos, Isaiah, Eliseo, Julian, Naomi, Noah, Jalyn, Genevra and Willa. Memorial Services to celebrate his life are at 1:30 pm on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at Getz Funeral Home. A memorial mass will take place at a later date with his cremains to be laid to rest at the St. Genevieve's Catholic Church Columbarium. PDF Printable Version
