Robert H. Paul

Robert (Bob) Hugh Paul, 84, of Las Cruces died Tuesday, September 6, 2011. He was born to Jesse and Grace Paul in Muskogee, Oklahoma on April 21, 1927. Bob was a veteran of the US Marine Corps where he served our country honorably during WWII. He also retired after 35 years of faithful service from White Sands Test Facility. Bob arrived in Las Cruces in 1951 coming from Houston, TX. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, enjoyed the outdoors, camping, hiking in the woods and a member of the Boy Scouts of America for 15 years and enjoyed flying and was a pilot. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Ardell Paul of the family home; son Richard Paul of Las Cruces and daughter Martha Paul of Las Vegas, NV. Robert was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Joe. A visitation will be held 5:00 -7:00 pm Thursday, September 8, 2011 at Getz Funeral Home. Funeral Services to celebrate his life will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, September 9, 2011 at First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Norm Story officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery with military honors. PDF Printable Version
