Robert S. Ruddle, 84, of Las Cruces, NM, passed away Sunday, May 23, 2010. Robert has no survivors. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Eleanor, a step-son, Donald Gene-Hodson Ruddle, his mother and father, Robert and Anne Ruddle of Franklin, WV, and a brother Robert Boome. Robert S. Ruddle, 84, of Las Cruces, NM, passed away Sunday, May 23, 2010. Robert has no survivors. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Eleanor, a step-son, Donald Gene-Hodson Ruddle, his mother and father, Robert and Anne Ruddle of Franklin, WV, and a brother Robert Boome. Robert worked in federal service at White sands Missile Range and retired after 40 years. He served in the U.S. Army and Navy from 1943 to 1954 in the South Pacific in WWII, and in South Korea during the Korean War. He was a recipient of the Bronze Star in the Asia Pacific Theater in WWII. Robert was a long time member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church and did long time maintenance work at the Church. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, may 31, 2010 at the Getz Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 1, 2010, at Getz Funeral Home with burial immediately following at the Hillcrest Cemetery at the gazebo PDF Printable Version
