Roberta Joan Henderson, age 89, died Thursday, November 24, 2022 at her sons home in Oklahoma City, Okla. She was born December 15, 1932 in Hendersonville, North Carolina to Arnold and Edith (Hollingsworth) Jackson. Roberta Joan Henderson, age 89, died Thursday, November 24, 2022 at her sons home in Oklahoma City, Okla. She was born December 15, 1932 in Hendersonville, North Carolina to Arnold and Edith (Hollingsworth) Jackson. She grew up in Hendersonville until her teenage years when she moved with her family to Las Cruces, New Mexico. She was a beautician for many years before returning to college and becoming a Registered Nurse for the remainder of her career. She moved to Oklahoma City about a year and a half ago to live with her son. She was a life time member of the Baptist Church. Roberta was preceded in death by her parents, three husbands, five siblings, two sons, one grandson and one great granddaughter. Survivors include her son Sam Henderson and wife Wynan of Oklahoma City, OK, two daughters Kathy Christie and husband Mark and Karen Unruh and husband Wayne all of Las Cruces, New Mexico and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Also one brother Herbert Hardin of Las Cruces. Three sisters Betsy Copolillo, Mary Lois Maybin and Faye Jackson-Henry all of North Carolina. A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 1, 2022, from 5-7 PM, at Getz Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 2, 2022 at 11am in the Chapel of Getz Funeral Home with interment to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery, Las Cruces, New Mexico. First Visitation
