Roberta Apodaca Pacheco, 78, loving wife and grandmother entered eternal life on Monday, August 15, 2011. She was born June 14, 1933 in La Union, NM to Lorenzo Apodaca Sr. and Angelita Apodaca. She had been a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Cathedral in Las Cruces, NM. Her life's passion was for her family who will forever love and miss her. Roberta is survived by her loving husband of 56 years. Manuel Pacheco Sr., her children Manuel Pacheco Jr. and wife Shiela, Carmen Lane and Mary Di Matteo, her brother Lorenzo Apodaca Jr. Also surviving her are 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. A visitation will be held from 5 to 7pm on Thursday, August 18, 2011 at Getz Funeral Home in Las Cruces, NM with her Rosary to follow at 7pm. Roberta's Funeral Mass to celebrate her eternal life is at 1pm on Friday, August 19, 2011 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Cathedral with Fr. Tom Smith officiating.
