Roberto "Bobby" Brito was called home on June 14, 2018, in Las Cruces, New Mexico at the age of 64. Bobby was born on October 21, 1953 and graduated from Las Cruces High School in 1972. He married his baby doll, Ana Montoya on May 17, 1975. He enlisted into the United States Air Force in 1976 and proudly retired after 20 years. His military service afforded many adventures for his family. Upon returning, Bobby attained his degree in welding which became his lifetime career; and this developed into a pathway to teaching. Everyone who knew Bobby was touched by his compassion and love, they were immediately welcomed into his family; he knew no strangers. Bobby is survived by his loving wife, Ana Brito, sons Dennis Brito (Edward), Robby Brito, his mother Manuela "Nellie" Brito, and grandchildren JD & Wyatt Brito, who were the light of his life, and a special daughter Anna Metterick. He also leaves two sisters Jean Rivera (John), Linda Fisher (Tom), baby brother Michael Brito (Cyndi). He also leaves many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Bobby was preceded in death by his best buddy and father Arnulfo "Shorty" Brito, and sister Lisa Brito. Bobby welcomes you to join him and his family on his journey on June 20, 2018, beginning at 9 am at St. Genevieve's Church, 100 South Espina Street in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
