On February 19, 2024, we lost our beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, at the age of 87. Rudy was born in Las Cruces NM on August 5, 1936. He was an Air Force Veteran and a retired carpenter from WSMR. He was a loving, caring, and devoted man who loved to travel, watch his western movies, softball...

On February 19, 2024, we lost our beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, at the age of 87. Rudy was born in Las Cruces NM on August 5, 1936. He was an Air Force Veteran and a retired carpenter from WSMR. He was a loving, caring, and devoted man who loved to travel, watch his western movies, softball, and football.
He was survived by his children, Daughter Doris R. Ketcherside Rios (Robert), James V Ketcherside (Jo Ann), Debbie L. Ketcherside, Paul A Duran (Shery), Kim Mcalvin (Chuck), grandchildren, David, April, James (JR), Desiree, Stephanie, Kendra, Angela, Cameron, Brenden, and Anthony and 20 great grandchildren, Sister Alice, Sylvia, brother Oscar, many nieces, and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his wife Ramona F. Duran, Son Danny Duran, Mother Regina Duran, Father Jose Duran, brother Tommy and sister Piki.
We want to give special recognition to Eddie and Yvonne Flores (his neighbors) for always helping our father.
Services will be held on Monday March 11, 2024, beginning at 10:00 am with a Rosary and funeral mass to follow at St. Genevieve’s Catholic Church, 100 S. Espina, Las Cruces NM 88001.
Pallbearers will be his great grandchildren: Adam Flores, Lysette Flores, Jayden Gandar, and Joshua Ketcherside.
