Ron graduated from New Mexico State University with an associate degree in Police Science, FBI National Academy, Ron was in the United States Navy, enlisted sailor involved in Amphibious Intelligence and qualified in Submarines. Ron Axtell will leave behind a multitude of accomplishments in the city and the community. At the age of 18 being the youngest seaman to drive the submarine and pock the Artic Circle the USS skip jack.
Ron Leaves behind his sons Jason Lee Axtell and Joshua Jay Axtell, Grandson Travis Jay Axtell, Granddaughters Lillian-Alexis Lynn Axtell and Maddison Genevieve Axtell and many wonderful grandkids.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:15 am on April 25, 2024 at Farm and Ranch Museum followed by Burial at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
