Rosaria B. Alvarez

Rosaria B. Alvarez, 87 of Las Cruces, NM died at Memorial Medical Center surrounded by her family. Rosaria was born April 29, 1921 in Rincon, NM to Miguel and Marcella Padilla. A lifelong area resident she was a homemaker and a member of the Catholic Church. She is survived by two daughters, Ramona Clark and Andrea Martinez both of Las Cruces, NM; one brother, Benny Padilla of Las Cruces; three grandchildren, her caregiver, Tomas Clark, as well as Ralph Martinez and Lalo Martinez. Also surviving Rosaria are two great grandchildren, Cassandra Clark and Jessie Martinez. She was preceded in death by her husband Norberto Alvarez and a grandson Lose Luis Alvarez. The Prayer Vigil will be at 7 pm on Sunday, October 12, 2008 at Our Lady of All Nations Catholic Church in Rincon, NM where the Funeral Liturgy will be at 10 am on Monday, October 13, 2008. Officiating will be Rev. Carlos Espinoza. The Rite of Committal and burial will follow at the Rincon Cemetery. Serving, as pallbearers will be Jessie Martinez, Tony Pinieda, Lalo Martinez, Robert Rios, Ralph Martinez and Manuel Carreon.
