Rosario Silva, 46 of Mesilla Park, NM died Tuesday September 1, 2009 at Gerald Champion Regional Medical Center in Alamogordo, NM She was born May 20, 1963 on Monterde, Chihuahua, Mexico to Dolores and Irene Quezada. Rosario was employed at the Custodial Dept. at New Mexico State University and was a member of The Basilica de San Albino in Mesilla. She is survived by her husband Fernando Lopez of Mesilla Park; one son, Jesus Silva of Las Cruces, NM; two brothers, Damian Quezada and Lazaro Quezado both of Mexico; and two sisters, Victoria Quezada and Romelia Quezada both of Mexico. A visitation will be held from 5 to7 pm on Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at Getz Funeral Home where the Prayer Vigil will follow at 7 pm. The Funeral Liturgy will be at 10 am on Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at The Basilica de San Albino, 2070 Calle de Santiago in Mesilla with Fr. Antonio Martinez, officiating.
