Rosela F. "Rosie" Nunez, 71, of Las Cruces, died Thursday, July 27, 2006. She was born August 30, 1934 in Albuquerque, NM to Clemente and Francisca Ferrales. Rosie loved Arts and Crafts but had a passion for quilting and playing bingo. She will be deeply missed by all her family and friends who knew and loved her. Rosela F. "Rosie" Nunez, 71, of Las Cruces, died Thursday, July 27, 2006. She was born August 30, 1934 in Albuquerque, NM to Clemente and Francisca Ferrales. Rosie loved Arts and Crafts but had a passion for quilting and playing bingo. She will be deeply missed by all her family and friends who knew and loved her. She is survived by her sons Michael Ferrales and wife Jill and Abel Nunez all of Las Cruces and Ernest Nunez and wife Sandra of Sherrillsford, NC; grandchildren Janna, Rebecca, John, Sarah, Amanda, Danta, Tyler and Sabrina; great-grandchildren Geoffrey and Connor; brothers Ben DeLaO and Arthur DeLaO and wife Teresa all of Albuquerque, NM; sister Inez Foster and husband Jonas of Oklahoma. Rosie is also survived by other brothers and sisters from California, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Solomon Nunez and by her grandson Steven Ferrales. A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 PM on Tuesday, August 1, 2006 at Getz Funeral Home where a prayer vigil will follow at 7:00 PM. The funeral mass is at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, August 2, 2006 at St. Genevieve's Catholic Church. Rite of Committal will be at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery.
