Rosie G. Soliz, 61, of Chamberino, NM was called home on Jan. 20, 2022. She was born on December 25th, 1960, to the late Simon and Reyna Soliz in Canutillo, TX. Rosie is survived by her son Jacob Soliz and grandchildren Aaron Thompson and Annalise Soliz as well as her daughter Lina Uribe, granddaughter Audrey Rose Ramirez, and grandsons Gabriel and Angel Bustamante. Rosie is survived in life by her siblings Esther Soliz, Sandra Soliz and husband Paul Ontiveros, Jimmy Soliz, and Chris Soliz. She is preceded in death by her siblings Marty Soliz, Albert Soliz, Danny Soliz, Norma Soliz, and Martha Najera. Rosie will also be remembered by many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. Rosie was fearless and full of life, wise and smart. She gave the best advice. Her humor was the best, she was a good time. Rosie was easy-going, welcoming, calm, and a breath of fresh air. She influenced many with her good taste in music. Rosie enjoyed jewelry, knitting, going to the casino, and playing candy crush. Most of all, she enjoyed shopping and being with her grandchildren. There will be a public viewing from 1-2 pm followed by a Celebration of Life in her honor at 2 pm at Getz Funeral Home on Friday, January 28, 2022, at 1410 E. Bowman Ave. followed by a reception at St. Genevieve's Parish Hall at 1025 E. Las Cruces Ave. Rosie loved purple flowers. First Visitation
