A life time of service to family and God came to an end in this life to Routine Warner on July 5, 2011 in Huntsville, Alabama. Mrs. Warner was a long time resident of Las Cruces and the Mesilla Valley. She was born on January 17, 1918 in Crockett, Texas to William Cooper and Nellie Davis Cooper. She was the middle child of eight children. She accepted Christ as her personal Savior at an early age, and followed his teachings until she was called home to get her reward. In 1937 she married the love of her life, David Warner and to this union eight children were born. They renewed their vows in 1997. She and her late husband moved to La Mesa in 1944 and lived in that area until moving to Las Cruces, NM. The family united with the New Hope Baptist Church of Vado, where she remained a faithful worker in the choir, Sunday school, and Women's Missionary Union. In 1999 she and her husband moved to Huntsville, Alabama for health reasons. There she was lovingly cared for by her daughter Faye Senter and family. She retired from Memorial Medical Center. Routine was a woman who put God first in her life and was a loving, compassionate and generous person who was devoted to her family. She enjoyed a good laugh and her "sweets" No meal was complete unless she had a dessert. Routine Warner was preceded in death by her parents, husband David Warner, son John Warner and grandson Eugene Knight. Her siblings Willie Doris Geary, Terecia Tillman, Elvia Mickels, Raymond Cooper, Earl Cooper and BoBo Cooper. Those left to cherish her memory are her children: H. J. (Jerry) Warner of Las Cruces, NM; Nellie Knight of Vancouver, Canada; William Warner (Myron) Oak Harbor, Washington; Joy Hadnot (Pervis), Apple Valley, California; O. D. Warner Sr. (Sherry) Los Lunas, New Mexico, Marie Holsome, Huntsville, Alabama; Faye Senter (Eddie) Huntsville, Alabama.
