Rubel S. Arguello, 63 of Las Cruces, NM died May 18, 2008 at Memorial Medical Center. He was born March 28, 1945 in Santa Fe, NM to Cipriano and Reynalda Arguello. Rubel S. Arguello, 63 of Las Cruces, NM died May 18, 2008 at Memorial Medical Center. He was born March 28, 1945 in Santa Fe, NM to Cipriano and Reynalda Arguello. Rubel was an over the road trucker who trucked with several different trucking companies over the years. He was a member of the Catholic Church and he will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his loving wife Dorothy of the family home; Sons, John Arguello of Las Cruces, NM; Rubel Jr. (Paco) and wife Cindy of Santa Fe, NM; Jeremy Arguello and Ira Arguello both of Albuquerque, NM; daughter, Margaret (Petunia) Romero and husband Pete of Santa Fe, NM. Four step children, Ronald P. Torres and wife Flora of Dona Ana, NM; Sonia M. Rodriguez and husband Joseph of Las Cruces, NM; Bernadette S. Arguello of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Matthew M. Arguello of Las Cruces, NM He has three brothers, Alfred Vigil and wife Edith of Rio Rancho, NM; Victor Arguello and wife Irene of Brazito, NM and Eddie Arguello and wife Clara of Santa Fe, NM. Three sisters, Olivia McDuff of Seattle, WA; Diana Misquez of Dona Ana, NM and Yolanda Chavez of Albuquerque, NM. Also surviving Rubel are 11 grandchildren, one great grandson, several nieces, nephews and many other relatives. His parents Cipriano and Reynalda; a brother Cipriano Jr., a sister, Carla Nieves and a son Joseph Arguello preceded him in death. At Rubel's request, cremation has taken place and a Prayer Vigil will be held at 10 AM with a Memorial Mass to follow on Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at Our Lady of Purification Catholic Church, 5525 Cristo Rey in Dona Ana.
