It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that the Garcia family announces the passing of our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, Rubina Garcia, age 59, of Las Cruces, NM. Those left to mourn her passing include her loving husband of 41 years, Eleuterio Garcia; her children, Anna, Jose, Hilda, Elena, Ericka, and Ramon Garcia. It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that the Garcia family announces the passing of our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, Rubina Garcia, age 59, of Las Cruces, NM. Those left to mourn her passing include her loving husband of 41 years, Eleuterio Garcia; her children, Anna, Jose, Hilda, Elena, Ericka, and Ramon Garcia. Other survivors include her grandchildren, Cruz, Olivia, Bo Jordan, Selena, Rubina, Thalia, Angel, Jose, Viviana, Eleuterio, Josue, Ruben, Diego, Adriana, Yadira, Jesus; and her great grandchildren, Ezequiel, Cruz and Yezzika; her mother, Beatriz Carrasco, and many other family members. She was preceded in death by her son, Luther Garcia, her father, Jose Carrasco, and her sister-in-law, Alejandra G. Orona. A visitation will be held from 6 to 7 pm on Sunday, April 1, 2012 at Getz Funeral Home where her prayer vigil will follow at 7 pm. Rubina's funeral mass to celebrate her life will be at 10 am on Monday, April 2, 2012 at St. Genevieve's Catholic Church, 100 S. Espina St. with Fr. Juan Moreno officiating. Rite of Committal will be at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery. Jose Garcia, Ramon Garcia, Olivia and Selena Estrada, Rubina Garcia and Bo Jordan Cisneros will be serving as pall bearers.
