Ruth Haubrock Moran Born July 31, 1916 in Cincinnati, Ohio, Ruth passed peacefully on August 5, 2008. Preceded in death by her loving husband, Jack, and survived by her children John (Mary), Judy and Lew (Peggy), 12 grandchildren, and 1 great grandson. Ruth had a passion for public service, enjoying a long career in museum work, holding various positions including operations director and interim president at the Minnesota Museum of Art. After retiring she was a dedicated volunteer at museums on Madeline Island and in Las Cruces. A reception in her honor will be held Saturday, August 9, at 3:00 pm at Good Samaritan Society, 3045 Buena Vida Circle, in the 1st floor lounge on the west end of Building E. PDF Printable Version
