A lifelong artist, musician, and educator who created everything from greeting cards, paintings, and elaborate tapestries to Klezmer music and children’s operas, Ruth’s energy and infectious positivity touched everyone she ever met, most recently as a robust member of the Temple Beth El congregation in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Ruth is survived by sons Michael and Scott, grandsons Albert, Alex, Aaron, and Josh, and by her beloved dog Hobbzy. To the end, Ruth’s catchphrase remained “I’ll love you forever.”"
Services are scheduled to begin at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at Getz Funeral Home with burial to follow.
