Ruth Elizabeth Nickel passed away on February 24, 2018 in Las Cruces, New Mexico. She was born in Los Angeles, California, the seventh child to Joseph Walter and Helen Saley Nickel on March 3, 1933. She is preceded in death by all of her immediate family. She graduated from John Marshall High School and was employed by Getty Corporation in Los Angeles until she retired. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and lived her life with a love of the Gospel. She did not marry but is survived by her many nieces, nephews, grand- nieces and grand-nephews to whom she was cherished. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 3, 2018 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for family members only. Burial will follow at the Masonic Cemetery. Service Information
