Ryan Scott Oglum

Ryan Scott Oglum passed suddenly Friday, June 1, 2012, and is now at peace. He was born in Austin, TX to parents Scott and Linda Oglum on March 20, 1987. Ryan was a loving and intelligent man with many interests including philosophy, music, and volunteering his time to help others in need. He spoke fluent Spanish and hoped to establish a career as a translator for disadvantaged individuals seeking opportunity in America. His contagious sense of humor and passion for lifelong learning were qualities that drew so many people to him. Ryan was a truly extraordinary individual who brought smiles to countless faces as he offered a gentle hand of friendship. He will be forever missed by his family and friends. Ryan is survived by his parents, brother Justin, sister-in-law Missy, nephew Finn, cousin Kristen, aunt Juley, uncle Thomas, and grandmother Betty. He will be in our hearts every day.
