Sandra K. Batdorf, 62 years old of Radium Spring, NM formerly of Enosburg, Vermont, passed away in her sleep on Saturday, February 11, 2006. She was born on September 26, 1944 in Montpelier, Vermont, the daughter of the late Ernest and Thelma (Thompson) Robertson. Sandra K. Batdorf, 62 years old of Radium Spring, NM formerly of Enosburg, Vermont, passed away in her sleep on Saturday, February 11, 2006. She was born on September 26, 1944 in Montpelier, Vermont, the daughter of the late Ernest and Thelma (Thompson) Robertson. She went to the Mary Fletcher School of Nursing in Burl, Vermont and followed in her mother's footsteps to become a resisted nurse. She worked for many years in her chosen profession. After moving out west she worked at the hospital in Clovis, NM and later became the Director of Nursing there. Returning to Vermont, she worked at Copley Hospital in Morrisville. After the death of her mother she returned to New Mexico. She retired from nursing due to health problems. She loved her dogs and being a nurse and helping people. Sandra is survived by her loving husband of 18 years, James Batdorf of Radium Springs, NM. She has one son, Terrance J. Grigsby and his wife, Christy, and three grandsons, Connor, Caleb, and Cooper Grigsby of Cordova, Tennessee. She leaves her sister Linda Vantine (Robertson) of Moretown, Vermont. One stepson Carl and stepdaughter Barbara of New Mexico. Two nieces, three grand nieces and one grand nephew of Vermont. She leaves behind many wonderful family members and friends. A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 PM on Wednesday, February 15, 2006 at Getz Funeral Home. At her request cremation will follow and her cremains will be interred at Ft. Stanton National Cemetery, Ft. Stanton, NM.
