"Heavenly Father hear our prayer, Guide our Father with tender care, Dear shepherd do not leave him alone, Love him in heaven, as we do at home." Santos G. Guerrero, age 80 of the Mesilla Valley entered into eternal life on Friday, June 5, 2009 at the La Posada, Mesilla Valley Hospice in Las Cruces. Santos was known by others to be a dedicated man who adored his wife and daughters and to be a very kind hearted, loving, and giving person. He enjoyed singing traditional Mexican songs and dancing with his wife as well as working in the garden. Mr. Guerrero arrived in the Mesilla Valley in 1960 from Lubbock, Texas where he continued to work in farming until his retirement in 1989 from Stahmann Farms. Santos is survived by his loving wife, Cecilia, of fifty-one years; four daughters, Rosalia (Rose) and husband Sabino of Las Cruces, Natividad and companion Velia of Dona Ana, Amalia and husband Roberto (Bobby) of Mesilla, Elvira and Fianc
