Santos T. Leon passed away surrounded by family at La Posada-Mesilla Valley Hospice, on March 5, 2018, at the age of 67. He was born to Mario and Angelita Leon on November 1, 1950, in Las Cruces, NM. Santos T. Leon passed away surrounded by family at La Posada-Mesilla Valley Hospice, on March 5, 2018, at the age of 67. He was born to Mario and Angelita Leon on November 1, 1950, in Las Cruces, NM. He served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a handyman, held many trade jobs, where he finally worked and retired from NMSU as a structural maintenance technician. He had a great passion for music, movies, working on and fixing automobiles, and most of all, putting his green thumb to work in his lovely garden. He was a true NMSU Aggies fan, and loved watching the basketball team play. Santos is survived by his children and their spouses: Santos and Charlene, Alejandra and Andres, Yvette and Derrick. Grandchildren: Kira, Melanie, Hailey, Alessandra, and Aliyana. Brothers, sisters, and their spouses: Mario Leon, Andrea Leon, Carmen and Jesus Zamora, Irene Miller, Eddie and Theresa Leon, Jessie Leon, Rosa Ordunez, Terry Leon and Javier Tablon, Gloria and Frank Jaramillo, Connie and Paul Rivera, and David Leon. As well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Mario and Angelita Leon, and brother, Arturo Leon. Upon his request, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at Our Lady of Health Church on Friday, March 23, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Service Information
