Sarah K. Nettleton died Saturday, January 29, 2005 at University Terrace Good Samaritan Village following her beloved "Sister" Wynogene Hunter, into the next stage of life by 22 days. She was born and raised in San Saba, Texas on March 14, 1916 to William H. and Beulah H. Kimbrough. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Homer, sister and her brother. Following her marriage in October 1947, she and Homer owned and operated the Sunbeam Grocery Store in Grandfalls, Texas until his health forced them to retire. They were both extremely active in Civic Affairs in Grandfalls as well as The Grandfalls Union Church. Due to ill health, Sarah moved to Las Cruces in 2001 and spent the last two years at University Terrace/Good Samaritan Village Nursing Home where she was loved and taken care of by their wonderful staff. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Dorothy Kimbrough, of Abilene, Texas, her Caregiver Niece and her family, Beulah Oyler, Bob, Rex and Becky Fuller, Las Cruces, as well as nieces; Thana Anderson, Florida, Bama Crouse- Jim, Nogal, NM, Kim Joyce- Pat, Roswell, NM, Sarah Ellis- Ron, Houston, TX, Peggy Edmister- Tom, Silver City, Ann McKellar- Jim, Tulsa, OK, Jo Ramsey Decker- Tater, Clayton, OK, Candy Nettleton, Del Rio, TX. Nephews: George Hunter- Janice, ID, Sam Hunter- Sandy, Ogden, UT, Kenneth Kimbrough-Linda, OK, Ron Kimbrough-Sheryl, Abilene, TX., Beau Nettleton, TX. Dickie Dixon, Dallas, TX, and Larry O'Quin, Newark, TX also by nerous great nieces and great nephews- Sarah had a love for traveling, fishing, taking pictures, her family and TEXAS!!!
