Scotty Andrew Wood was born on Christmas Eve, December 24, 1979, in Fort Huachuca Arizona. He went Home to eternal rest with our Lord and Savior on September 23, 2023.

From a young age, Scotty was audacious with an adventurous side. He loved activities including Bull riding. In High School he played Saxophone in the marching band and marched in the Rose bowl parade one year. He loved spending time with his daughter Annabelle, whether it was Hiking, watching her play sports, singing, or acting in a school play, he loved every minute. Scotty had a great singing voice and boy could he cook. He was also an avid Dart player and won a tournament or two during his dart playing days. He made a living over the years as a Sous Chef, Bartender, Mover, and Safety officer.

Scotty loved Jesus, reading his Bible and History books, especially Scottish history. In his short life his greatest accomplishment was leaving a legacy of Faith in God to his daughter Annabelle.

Scotty is survived by his daughter Annabelle M. Wood, Mother Susanne M. Stewart, Father Lawrence Scearce, Sister Elizabeth Doss, Brothers William Wood, Matthew (Candace) Wood, Shawn Wood. Niece Kristi Doss, Nephews, Jimmie & Mitchell Doss, Bryce (Brittany) & Brandon Troungo, Great Nephew’s Lincoln, Hudson & Tate and many extended family members, and friends. Scotty was deeply loved by his family and is sorely missed. We take great comfort knowing he is no longer in pain and safe with Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

A celebration of life will be announced later to be held at his home Church, First Baptist Church of Las Cruces New Mexico.
