Siegle Wayne Maxey, 86, of Las Cruces, New Mexico died Sunday, October 11, 2015. "Maxey" was born in Wilson,(Atoka County)of Oklahoma on February 2, 1929 to George and Mary Maxey. He was baptized at the Lane Baptist Church in Lane, Oklahoma. He later moved to Las Cruces, New Mexico where he worked as a Contractor and Welder. He later married Joyce Maxey in 1966. Maxey loved horses and Cowboy Polo. Maxey is survived by his children Roy Maxey, Belin, NM; Mary Spence, Tishomingo, OK; Robert Maxey, wife Carolyn, Lahoma, OK; Shirley Pugh, husband Terry, Ponca City, OK; Donna Hase, husband Curtis Anamoose, ND; Delora Lewis, husband Calvin, Ponca City, OK; Paula Ayres, husband Gary, Madill, OK; Timothy Reeves, wife Elaine, Las Cruces, NM; Steven Reeves, wife Becky, Houston, TX; William Cupit, wife Renee, Las Cruces, NM; Curtis Maxey, Amarillo, TX. He is also survived by sisters Verniece Overstreet of Midland, TX; Barbra Jackson of Atoka, OK; Bonnie and Jerry Jackson of Tushka, OK and sister-in-law Mamie Maxey of Atoka, OK as well as many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife Joyce, a daughter Twona Maxey and by his brother Wendell Maxey. A graveside service will be held at Masonic Cemetery on Friday, October 16, 2015 at 2:00PM.
