Sofia Lozano,67, of Vado, New Mexico passed away on Saturday August 25, 2012 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born January 15, 1945 in San Jose Del Sitio, Mexico. Sofia is survived by her husband Juan M. Lozano of Vado, NM, one daughter Erica Lozano of Phoenix, Arizona, sons Onel Lozano of Vado, NM, Juan Carlos Lozano and his wife Mary of Vado, NM, Jesus Lozano and his wife Guadalupe of Las Cruces, and Mercedes Lozano and his wife Raquel of Juarez, Mexico, Ruben Lozano and his wife Marisol of Vado, NM, Jorge L. Lozano and his wife Imelda of Las Cruces, NM. Sofia is also survived by numerous grandchildren and greatgrandchildren three sisters and two brother. Visitation will be on Thursday August 30, 2012 from 6-7 p.m., with a prayer vigil to follow at 7:00 p.m, at Getz Funeral Home 1410 E. Bowman Ave. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday August 31, 2012 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help 125 W. Mesquite, Mesquite, New Mexico, burial will follow at Missionary Ridge Cemetery.
