Stephanie Jo Pando, age 45 years, passed away peacefully in the arms of her beloved husband, Roberto, on September 16, 2021, when she went to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Stephanie Jo Pando, age 45 years, passed away peacefully in the arms of her beloved husband, Roberto, on September 16, 2021, when she went to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was born in Las Cruces, NM on May 3, 1976, to Baltazar Jr. and Theresa Lucero of Las Cruces, NM. Stephanie married her true-love Roberto of Las Cruces on 01/19/2006. She loved camping, hiking, traveling and plain old kickin' it with family and friends. Most recently, she enjoyed traveling the open roads to her next RV adventure in her travel trailer. She expressed her artistic talents in cake baking and decorating for many special events. Stephanie was a very humble spirit with the strength, drive and determination of a warrior. During her battle with cancer, she taught us how to be strong and hold God close to our hearts. Her wishes were for us to live life to its fullest and always enjoy family and friends. She will be truly missed. She is survived by her husband, Roberto, of 15 years; son, Christopher Diaz; daughters, Brianna Pando, Misha Pando. Other survivors include her mother, Theresa Lucero; brothers and sisters; Eric Lucero (Anna), Jake Lucero (Gabriela), Cathy Martin, Suzanne Trillo; Irene Pando (mother in-law), Mariano Pando Jr (brother in-law), and many nephews, nieces, and cousins; and her dogs Sophie and Patches. Stephanie is preceded in death by her loving father Baltazar Jr. Lucero; Mariano Pando Sr (father in-law). A service in her memory will be held on Thursday, September 30, 2021, at Getz Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. followed by a recitation of the Holy Rosary and Prayer Services at 10:00 a.m.
