Stephen F Hardin

Stephen Frederic Hardin Born: September 6, 1943 in Terre Haute, Indiana Died: June 26, 2011 at memorial Hospital in Las Cruces, New Mexico Stephen was a long time Las Cruces Resident. He graduated from Las Cruces High School in 1961 and went on to New Mexico State University where he graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering. Stephen spent most of his career at White Sands Missile Range working for the Corps of Engineers and Special Projects. He retired in January 2003. Stephen was a member of the Chi Epsilon Advisory Board and active in the ACAGE at NMSU. He was active in First Presbyterian Church where he served as Clerk of the Session and member of their choir. Stephen's first love was music and he traveled to hear Gaither concerts around the Southwest and was a participant in a monthly gospel singing group. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Rondla Hardin, whom he met at NMSU, his children Charles Keith Hardin and Margaret Louise Hardin, his mother, Margaret Regina Hardin and several Aunts and Cousins in Indiana. Funeral Services to celebrate his life will be held at 10 AM on Thursday, June 30, 2011 at First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Norm Story officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Stephen F.
