Stephen Paul Mogford, 57, died suddenly from an illness on November 14, 2015. He is survived by his son Alex Mogford, daughter-in-law Christina Batton, and granddaughter Azalea "Zalie" Mogford. Stephen Paul Mogford, 57, died suddenly from an illness on November 14, 2015. He is survived by his son Alex Mogford, daughter-in-law Christina Batton, and granddaughter Azalea "Zalie" Mogford. He is also survived by his mother Elizabeth Mogford of Twinsburg, Ohio; sisters Maureen Gallagher (husband Kevin) of Enfield, New Hampshire; Sheilagh Mogford (wife Melanie) of Prescott, Arizona; and Eileen Kijinski (husband Paul) of Northfield, Ohio. Stephen is pre-deceased by his father Victor and older brother Raymond. He will be missed by his nephews PJ Kijinski, Michael Gallagher, Andy Kijinski, and by his niece Meghan Gallagher, along with many friends and family. Stephen was born in Cleveland, Ohio and grew up in Macedonia, Ohio. He lived near Atlanta, Georgia for many years. He recently spent time back in Ohio and in California with Alex, Christina and Zalie. Stephen will be remembered as a die-hard fan of the Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Indians. He also enjoyed a competitive game of golf or a challenging board game (Scrabble, Monopoly). A game of Cribbage, Darts or Chess rounded out his favorite pastimes. His intense love of all types of music was legendary, with favorites including The Beatles, The Sensational Alex Harvey Band, Rory Gallagher, Roy Buchanan, Thelonious Monk and John Coltrane.
