Susan Diane (Stubbs) Mitchell born May 21, 1950 in Albuquerque, New Mexico passed away March 2, 2024 in El Paso, Texas, Sue was a loving wife, sister, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 53 years. Lucky Mitchell, son Lewis and wife Jamie, granddaughters McKenna and Kinley, brother Steve Stubbs niece Melissa and nephew Matt. Sue was preceded in death by her mother Barbara (Litchfield) Stubbs, and Father Bob Stubbs.
Sue attended Los Lunas High School, Sul Ross State University and later returned to Eastern New Mexico University where she recieved her degree in nursing. Sue was a retired nurse and avid scuba diver. She had many hobbies including cooking and gardening. Sue enjoyed many travels around the nation and the world.
Sue leaves behind a legacy of good friends and relatives scattered throughout the country, she will be missed by all.
