A reunion occurred in Heaven when our beloved mother Susie C. Guerrero, 84, rejoined her heavenly father on Thursday July 5, 2012. She was born Nov. 15, 1927 in San Ysidro, NM, to Cleto and Margarita Cardon. Susie grew up on her father's cotton farm where she enjoyed a happy small town upbringing. She later met her husband, Daniel Guerrero Jr. upon his return from World War II. Together they enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and camping. Susie's passion was for being with her children. She would often volunteer as a substitute teacher at her children's school. Susie was a woman of strong character and great faith. During her life's hardships she hung on to her faith and instilled that faith in her children. Susie will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her four children Eddie Guerrero and wife Lily of Las Cruces, Yvonne Owens and husband Chris of Peoria, AZ., Denise Olsen and husband Mark of Las Cruces and Annette Walters and husband Arthur of McKinney, TX; brother Dan Cardon of Las Cruces. Also surviving her are her grandchildren Gabriel, Karli, Danielle, Aja, Jacob, Derek, Amanda and Alexandra; great-grandchildren Natalie, Arianna, Daniel, Alexa and Kaitlyn. Susie was preceded in death by her loving husband Daniel Guerrero Jr., her son Rudy Guerrero and her parents.
