Thomas Edward Potere

Thomas E. Potere, 79, of Las Cruces, NM, died on January 15, 2012, after a short battle with cancer. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on July 26, 1932, to Francis and Charlotte Potere. He proudly served his country in the U.S.Army during the Korean Conflict. Tom was a loving husband, father, and brother who will be missed by many. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Joan (McGinley) Potere and later by his second wife Joan (Kornhauser) Potere, daughters Janet Bennett, Barbara Potere and Catherine Potere, and his brother William. He is survived by his wife Elsie, sons Steven (Beth) Potere and Thomas Potere, daughter Anne (Lou) Schimelpfenig, his sister Frances Broadbridge, his brothers Jack (Kate) and Ed (Helen), six step-children and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
