Our beloved Thomas Edward Tallon Jr. of Las Cruces, NM passed away on October 4, 2021. He was born on October 31, 1980, to Thomas Tallon Sr. and Maria Del Carmen Saenz. Thomas was a faithful member of the Catholic church, while he was stationed in Iraq, he was a Eucharistic minister. Our beloved Thomas Edward Tallon Jr. of Las Cruces, NM passed away on October 4, 2021. He was born on October 31, 1980, to Thomas Tallon Sr. and Maria Del Carmen Saenz. Thomas was a faithful member of the Catholic church, while he was stationed in Iraq, he was a Eucharistic minister. After 20 years Thomas retired on December 4, 2020 from the US air force as a senior air man and Civil Engineer Squadron. With numerous accommodations traveled the world during his service, stationed at San Antonio, Texas, Azores and Afghanistan, Iraq, Japan Korea, Guam, Holloman air force base and Cannon Air Force Base. Thomas loved to play face 10, cooking, golfing, fishing, and was Avid Steelers Fan! Thomas is survived by his parents Thomas Tallon Sr. and Maria Del Carmen Saenz, Siblings Tommy V. Saenz (Tyler, Tx) Maria Zepeda (Joshua) of Las Cruces, Lucia Strong (El Paso), George Tallon, Nicolas Tallon, and Mary Tallon-Heinz, Nieces and Nephews Joseph, Elijah, Ian, Angelyna Zepeda (Las Cruces) Briana, Felix Saenz (Tyler, Texas) Great grand niece Olivia Lucia Lopez (Tyler, Texas) and Alexander Strong (El Paso). Pallbearers include Tommy V. Saenz, Albert Guerra, Isaac Gomez, Felix A. Saenz, Alex Strong, Joseph Zepeda, Sammy Saenz, George Tallon, and Nicolas Tallon. Services will be held Friday, October 29, 2021 viewing will begin at 5pm followed by a Rosary at 7:00pm at Getz Funeral Home Chapel. Mass will take place the following day October 30 2021 at St Genevieve's Catholic church at 8:30 am followed by burial at Masonic Cemetery with Military Honors. Celebration of life will be held immediately following at the Fraternal Order of Eagles located at 980 17th St. Las Cruces, NM 88005.
