It is with great sorrow we mourn the loss of Timothy Louis McCasland, who peacefully passed on June 14th, 2012 surrounded by his loving family. It is with great sorrow we mourn the loss of Timothy Louis McCasland, who peacefully passed on June 14th, 2012 surrounded by his loving family. Tim was born October 11th, 1976 in Ruston, LA, but was raised in Shreveport, LA. He had previously resided in Texas, Arizona, and New Mexico. It was here in Las Cruces he met and married Rosy Pacheco. They have one son, Brendan Michael McCasland. Tim was driven by his love for his family. He was a dedicated husband, father, and dear friend to many. Tim was employed by De La Vega's for several years and truly loved his job and the people he worked with. He was a big brother to three younger siblings, who also considered him a friend. Tim touched many lives and will be missed by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother Mary Etta McCasland and his maternal grandmother Nita Rea Ezell. He is survived by his wife, Rosy Pacheco McCasland and son Brendan Michael McCasland of Las Cruces, NM; his grandfather Benjamin Herbert McCasland of Shreveport, LA; his grandfather James Herman Ezell of Las Cruces, NM; his father Randall Herbert McCasland Lt Col, USAF (Ret) (Helen) of Navarre, FL; his mother Jamie Lynn Ezell of Tucson, AZ; his sister Valerie Alberson (Adam) of Las Cruces, NM; his brother Michael Lance Kennedy of Long Beach, CA; his brother Brent Charles McCasland SSGT, USAF of Navarre, FL; his niece Abigail Grace Alberson; and his nephew Duke James-David Alberson, both of Las Cruces, NM; and many...
