Tomas Escalante 66 went to rest in the hands of his Lord Jesus Christ on March 1, 2016 at home surrounded by his family. He was born December 29, 1949 in Las Cruces New Mexico to Juan & Maria Escalante. Sisters-Pasty(Charlotte), Martha(Joe), Florenica , Lucy(Carlos) Brothers-Juan(Irma) , Ralph, Peter(Carmen). He was married to Lina Flores Escalante the love of his life. Tomas worked for Dona Ana County Animal Control for 26 yrs. He loved fishing, camping, hunting anything to do with the outdoors. He also liked to search for things in the desert and long drives to his favorite places with family & friends like Cabello, Black bridge, Percha and surrounding areas. He was a very strong man and had a handshake to match ,his grandchildren's Superman and always there whenever he was needed .He was a very spiritual man and had a strong faith in GOD. He survived by his two daughters Maria E. Escalante (Josh Urrutia) & Lorry A. Valles (Armando A. Valles) and grandchildren Angel,Lorena,Kansas,Armando,Epseranza, Adelina,Emiliano.Many numerous Nephews & Nieces also In-Law Flores Family. Proceeded in Death by his wife Lina Flores Escalante, Sons TJ & Richard Escalante. Parents Maria & Juan Escalante , Sister-Sandra Escalante A funeral Services is scheduled for Monday March 7, 2016 Viewing 9-10 Followed by a Rosary & Prayer Vigil in the Getz Funeral Home Chapel. . Reception will be held after at Immulate Heart Mary 1240 S.
